Sewing

I have been working on sewing some things up for a craft show at my grandmother's church in a couple of weeks.  My grandparents will be driving up to visit me from Florida next Monday and they will be taking my goodies back with them to sell for me.  Basically, when I do these crafty-type shows, I try to make things that would make good gifts, are not so expensive that people will be scared away from my table, but are also still cute.  I find things for children go over REALLY well.  So I make zipper pouches, and some small tote bags for little girls or they could be used for lunch totes, maybe some quick type wallets.  But one thing that I sell out of every time is coloring wallets.  This pattern by JChandmade is so awesome.  I always get requests for more boyish things at my table so this year I made half girly and half boyish type fabrics.

I also decided to make some pocket tissue packs.  This pattern is also from JChandmade.  I figured that they were cute, and portable, and what kid doesn't have a runny nose in the cooler seasons?  They were so simple to make.  I don't know why I never made them before.  I think I may have gone overboard though.  I made 37 of them,  heh.

SO, tomorrow and the rest of the week I will be working on some more craft show goodies.  But in a couple of days I will be back with my Sewing Summit post!!!!  I have SO many pictures I want to share.

  2. It all looks fantastic! You are a machine putting all of those things together so quickly. I don't think I have it in me to do a craft show, but i've always wanted to. I just can't get the product out fast enough. I can't wait to hear how it all does this year!

  3. Wonderful - I need to get that pattern! And I'm the same way - start cutting and all of sudden they have multiplied like Gremlins :-)
And yeah on the blog - off to add it to my reader and blog roll!
