No, really, it's true. Despite the neglect that this space
has received, I have been making lots of things over he past several
months. And while all of these projects
most definitely deserve a post of their own, it is time to face facts and
realize that the year is coming to an end so let's just have a little catch up
post, shall we?
So there's been lots of gifts. Not Christmas
gifts, because that would make too much sense. But just random gifts for family
and friends.
I made this tablet sleeve for my uncle and his Google nexus7.
And couple more of these small knitting bags. One for the lovely Yahaira as a thank
you for helping me make the Indiegogo video for my campaign.
And another for Jacey using fabric
from one of her favorite designer, just because she is awesome.

A couple of birthday quilts for my two youngest girls.
I made a Donut Quilt for Sydney, using one of my favorite Lizzy House prints as the background.
And I made a Meow quilt for Eve using Jeni's Color me Retro line from Art Gallery Fabrics.
Along with the quilt, I also made an Owl Sweater, an owl Geranium top, and a pair of navy blue Parsley corduroy pants for Eve's Birthday.
And a little soft
kitty pouch for a sweet friend
There has been a TON of shop sewing.
For some reason the lovely people that shop on etsy
got together and decided they all needed custom Christmas stocking this year.
It was pretty crazy there for a while.
But I do confess, once they were all done and I saw the finished
products, I realized that I loved making every one of them.
The fact that someone gives me an idea and then I get to create
something by building on that idea was pretty great. Especially since most of those ideas are things that I love too!
I have started several knitting projects.
So naturally I needed a to bag for them to live in.
LOVE this bag, so very much. The fabric, the shape, the size, all perfect. It's one of those projects that makes you smile every time you look at it. It is a scaled down child size of the Make Your Getaway Duffle Bag pattern.
This is probably one of my most favorite bags to make. There is just so much you can do with it and change it up to make it your own. Size it up, size it down, color block it, add pockets, change the handles, embellish it, and on and on and on.
There is SO much more that I have made that I haven't posted but I just wanted to give you the highlights. There was also a Dragon*con trip in there somewhere.
OH!! Speaking of Dragon*Con, YOU GUYS!! I met and surpassed my Indiegogo Campaign. Thank you SO much to everyone who contributed, or shared the campaign with their friends. There is still 2 days left on the campaign, and I am overwhelmed by the generosity I have been fortunate enough to receive. Heart you all.
It is probably unlikely that I will post again before Christmas, so Happy Holidays and I hope that you and your loved ones stay safe and relatively warm. And I will see you again on New Year's Eve for my annual resolution post. (at least I am god at keeping that on schedule.)
